The partners you support in this role will transform higher education

Joining our tight-knit team you will be the third member supporting our partners in their journey with Aula in creating more engaging learning experiences that delight educators and students. Our mission is to empower educators to make every learning experience truly engaging.

We make it easy for educators to create community-first learning experiences by combining easy-to-use technology with evidence-informed learning design.


  • Permanent, £40-50K + £30k OTE, remote - UK wide
  • Develop and manage complex enterprise-size Higher Education accounts

In this role you will:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of senior leaders within our partners (universities) to support them in seeing the positive impact of pedagogy-driven tech.
  • Work closely with the different teams at Aula including Sales, Operations (Learning Designers), and Product, and have interesting, complex conversations about improving students’ success (focused on retention, satisfaction).
  • Challenge senior leadership to be bold: discuss high-level vision, institutional impact, and rapid roll-out plans
  • Large-scale project management across all stakeholders (senior leadership, IT, educators).
  • Always have process improvement in mind as there is still room to build things up as we scale.

Aula is a fully remote company, and this is a remote job but will require regular travel to our main partners once the pandemic restrictions lift. Our partners love to meet us face to face, not for every meeting and not in a national lockdown; but for specific workshops or kick off meetings. As a result we are opening this role to UK-wide candidates.


What you need to do the Job

The most important thing about you is that you are curious - even better if that curiosity and care is about the power of education. That way you can relay how pedagogy and technology combined, empower educators to make every learning experience truly engaging.

You :

  • Have strong and open communication style and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of senior leaders
  • Have experience managing and prioritising multiple complex projects
  • Have proven ability to comfortably navigate C-Level discussions across senior stakeholders with varying levels of tech know-how
  • Have 3+ years of customer success experience with renewals sales cycles
  • Are always looking for ways to improve and innovate. You understand that this is a small team in a startup that is scaling and are excited to contribute to the Aula story.

A plus if you have:

  • A knowledge of, and interest in, higher education and driving systemic impact for students.
  • Experience working in or with companies with demonstrable product-led growth.
