The short version ⏳

Mission: Engage more students on our way to making engaging teaching and learning the norm. Take us from a high-potential Series A company to an impactful thought leader in education and data-informed product strategy. Do both by owning a cross-functional product area and leading by example.

Why: Engagement is one of the most strongly-correlated predictors of success in learning. We are shaping how teachers teach and make every student feel a part of their classroom.

Who: An experienced product manager with a background in rich, engaging products. You understand what makes an authentic, engaging experience.

The challenge: Product Manager 👩‍🚀👨‍🚀

We’re looking for a product manager who will increase engagement through ownership of a product area. We also want someone who will make our team better, while relishing the opportunity to learn from those already here.

In this role, you will;

  • Learn to craft a narrative using data, user experiences, and strategy to paint a compelling product vision that motivates the team.
  • Align with PMs and other product leaders to build a platform that is consistent, simple, and impacts students every day.
  • Own your product area’s outcomes, understand how they’re aligned and contribute to the company’s goals, and balance both while keeping our users front and centre for the team.
  • Own your outcomes rather than focus on feature requests. Our PMs don't own P/L, they own our product outcomes that will make Aula a successful company.
  • Contribute to the overall sophistication and effectiveness of our PM chapter by sharing your projects and experiences.
  • Learn from other excellent PMs through their experiences.
  • Become a data-informed PM with a vast toolkit to use in any PM situation, making you successful in your career at Aula or a highly sought-after candidate for any company looking for product leadership.

We’d love to hear from you if… 🔍

  • Appreciate the value of diverse and inclusive teams.
  • Thrive in caring and direct feedback environments.
  • Like to improve your process as much as you like to improve your product.
  • Aren't afraid to knock on doors to meet teachers and understand teaching workflows.
  • Can arrange a working day between GMT -5 and GMT +2.

You have…

  • Been part of an excellent product-focused organisation.
  • Worked to increase engagement as part of your measure of success on a previous project.
  • Worked on an Agile development team with incremental releases (or continuous delivery).
  • Worked closely with designers on a user-facing product.
  • Lead a product, a product area, or a product feature.
